Information stored on your device

Your 14-day journal entries and app preferences are stored locally on the device and browser you use. Meal or Move does not receive those entries. Clearing the journal or removing local app data deletes that local copy.

Health information

The app may let you enter optional glucose values, meal details, movement, medication-risk answers, and symptoms. These entries are used on your device to display educational prompts. Do not enter information you do not want stored on that device.

Accounts and advertising

The current app does not create a Meal or Move account, sell personal information, or use journal data for advertising.

Planner purchases

When you buy the planner, Meal or Move receives the name, email address, order status, and limited transaction details needed to provide a receipt, deliver the planner, prevent fraud, and help with billing questions. Payment-card information is collected and processed securely by Authorize.Net; Meal or Move does not receive or store your full card number or card security code.

Website operations

The hosting service may process limited technical information needed to deliver the app, maintain security, and diagnose failures, such as an IP address, device type, and request logs. External research links are governed by the destination site's privacy policy.

Children

Meal or Move is intended for adults living with type 2 diabetes and is not directed to children.

Your choices

• Glucose entry is optional.
• You can use the printable planner instead of the digital journal.
• You can clear journal data from inside the app.
• You can remove the installed app and its local data through your device settings.
• You can contact support about a planner purchase without sharing health information.

Questions or deletion requests

Because the current journal is not sent to Meal or Move, we cannot retrieve or delete entries stored only on your device. For privacy, purchase, or support questions, email trinity@mealormove.com.
